On top of this, I find that it's easier to keep the dog token on your player, or even not use it - the only point of the token is to help you visualise how far it can move from the player (which you can do by simply counting six spaces). However, as the Graveyard and Attic doesn't affect movement, it doesn't affect the dog (it has no physical or mental traits, so no roll would be needed). So for the Chasm or Tower, it can't go through them because there's a chance that it could fail the roll on the return journey. The way I see it: the point of this rule is that the dog can't get stuck on its return journey (since it always moves back to the owner). Unfortunately, this doesn't answer the question. It can't use the Mystic Elevator, either. It can't go through one-way passages or any passage like the Revolving Wall that requires a roll. The closest official wording is from an FAQ:Ĭan the Dog be sent down the Collapsed Room, Coal Chute, Gallery, or Mystic Slide?
